Nature has given us invaluable gifts like earth, air, water and the Sun's rays. In ancient days people knew the importance of the Sun. They knew that day and night, and seasons like summer, winter,etc all occur due to the Sun. The life on earth is possible due to the Sun. The Sun has control over human heart, back, eyes,etc. Mankind gets health, energy, grains, vegetables,etc through the Sun. People throughout the world prayed the Sun and constructed Sun temples. The medicinal use of sunrays:-
1. Sunbath.
2. Water treated in sunrays.
3. Oil treated in sunrays.
4. Sugar treated in sunrays.
The life on the earth is impossible without sunlight. To live healthy life and to avoid diseases, sunlight and clean fresh air is a must. When we come out of our house, sunlight falls on our skin which has positive effect.
While taking sunbath and after, certain care should be taken:
1. After sunrise and upto 9am, sunbath should be taken for half an hour.
2. Sunbath taken for curing diseases should be taken without clothing or if not possible, with minimum clothing.
3. Sunbath gives enrgy, increases appetite, causes blood purification and increses digestive power of lever.
4. Sunbath is useful to tuberculosis patients.
5. If one has eye problems, he should use dark yellow glasses while taking sunbath.
6. Sunbath increases immunity.
7. Sunbath should not be taken for long time.
8. Cover your head while taking sunbath.
9. Take bath with cold water after sunbath.
